Daffodil Ball Celebrates 25 Years

The Daffodil Ball, a Canadian Cancer Society fundraiser, is one of Montreal’s most sought-after annual galas. Of course daffodils – 38,000 of them – reigned supreme. The amazing decor was by Total Events, fabulous floral arrangements by Yves Chénier, perfect seating et al from Location Gervais, and staging by Scène Scapin. Windsor Station’s staircase was festooned with 2,000 of Wordsworth’s favourite flower.Carrying out the Silver 25th Anniversary theme was event planner Alison Silcoff, elegant in a beautiful silk satin Vera Wang  and  MC Julie du Page, (Ariane Carle) there with hubby Andrew Lapierre.

The paparazzi-busy cocktail hour with Laurent Perrier champagne had a caviar-blini bar by Quintessence. Guest chef Marc Lintanf created the delicious menu, working with with guest dessert chef Patrice Demers under the direction of Armando Arrudo and his team at Fairmont The Queen Elizabeth.
